Change disproportionality measure

VigiLyze can display different disproportionality measures, namely the Information Component (IC), Proportional Reporting Ratio (PRR), and Reporting Odds Ratio (ROR).

To change the measure:

1. Open the User menu.

2. Open Settings.

3. Locate Disproportionality measures.

4. Select the preferred measure.

The selected measure is used throughout:

• The “Disproportionality” tab

• Quantitative analyses

• Related exports

Why change the measure?

Different organisations may prefer different disproportionality methods.

The selected measure affects how disproportionality values are displayed but does not change the underlying reports.
