# Importing E2B XML files

{% hint style="warning" %}
Import functionality might need to be enabled by UMC. For assistance, [contact UMC](mailto:support@who-umc.org).
{% endhint %}

### How to import E2B XML files

1. In VigiFlow, go to “Import”.
2. For Type of import, the default option **`validated`** is selected and should always be used for ICSRs from marketing authorisation holders (MAHs).
3. Click on **`Choose File`** and select the XML files you want to upload.
4. Once the import is complete, it will immediately appear in the list of imports with a summary of the status and the number of ICSRs successfully imported into VigiFlow.

### Maximum number of ICSRs that can be imported per XML file

To guarantee system performance, include a maximum of 100 ICSRs in one XML file.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.who-umc.org/vigiflow/import-data/importing-e2b-xml-files.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
