# Recording patient information in VigiFlow

Patient information is mainly in the “**`Patient`**” section but is spread over several sections of the report.

To expand the “**`Patient`**” section:

1. Click on ![](/files/ftE6CTtsyUTTVjGyq2r2)to access more record details and, if applicable, information about patient death.
2. You can also enable a *Patient identification number*, which must be enabled by UMC.
