Creating parent-child reports in VigiFlow

Parent-child reports include additional fileds for parent information.

A parent-child report involves a foetus or breast-feeding infant exposed to medicine(s) or vaccine(s) through the parent and experiencing adverse effects. The child is considered the patient, and additional fields for parent information will be available.

To designate a case as a parent-child case:

Tick the box “Parent Child report” in the “Report information” section of the report.

Parent Child specific fields

Patient: Parent information, Parent medical history.

Drug: Parent route of administration, Gestational age at exposure (if foetus).
